Glacier Packs

The Little Freeze is just the tip of the iceberg. This unit comes standard

with specially designed shelves that facilitate the easy removal of the

four included glacier packs. The bottom shelf has spaces for four ice

cups (cups not included). It performs the same big chill as the Glacier

Freeze in one small, economical unit.

Just as with heat, the proper application of cold temperatures has therapeutic beneﬁts,

especially in treating acute injuries. Oftentimes, alternating the application of cold and

hot temperatures aids in pain relief and reduces muscle spasms. Whitehall® Glacier Packs,

regulated to a proper cold temperature by Glacier Freeze Chilling units, are applied to the

body for fast and effective cold therapy.

Cold application is thought to create a muscle guarding effect that constricts damaged tissue

and prevents further damage. Cold temperatures also result in vasoconstriction, which narrows

blood vessels and reduces swelling.
